He completed his M.D. in Anaesthesiology from Madurai Medical College, Tamil Nadu. He holds membership in several professional bodies, a Life member – of the Indian Medical Association, a Life member – of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiology, a Member of the national academy of medical sciences (MNAMS), etc. Before joining Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, Dr. Lakshmanarajan was a Specialist Cardiac Anaesthetist at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah, and Al Ahalia Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
