Dr. Hadeel Abdussalam Ahmed Alballa has more than 9 years of experience as general practitioner with prestigious institutions. Dr. Nehad Abdul Razzaq Kazim Albastaki is the senior Consultant Interventional Breast Radiologist with more than 23 years of experience. The first UAE national UK board- certified Breast radiologist from Bristol, UK in 2000 and obtained her medical degree from India in 1996. She is a pioneer in the field and known for her leadership positions and founder of breast imaging unit in private hospitals in Abu Dhabi and MOH hospitals in Sharjah and Dubai. She is the former lead Radiologist in National Breast Cancer Screening Program in MOH from 2006-2015. She has an extensive experience in Breast Cancer Early Detection with multimodality approach for screening and diagnostic procedures.
Dr. Nidal Shawish is a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Consultant with an MBA from the University of Manchester-AMBS, UK. Dr. Nidal has excellent clinical expertise in emergency medicine with special interests in emergency cardiology, critical care, and trauma management. Dr. Nidal is has special interest in clinical education, given his background in Academic Residency training at Jordan University Hospital in Jordan. During his previous experience, He has led many successful improvement projects in the emergency departments at prestigious Middle Eastern institutions like Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, focusing on business success operations, Process and Quality improvement along being working as an emergency physician. During his last work experience, Dr. Shawish’s leadership skills were proven in leading the emergency department and multiple hospital Committees as well, which led to improved operational and care quality outcomes. Furthermore, he is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified, which speaks volumes about his commitment to operations and process improvement. Dr. Shawish’s previous academic contributions as an Assistant Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Jordan University Hospital Faculty Teaching Assistant, and multiple life support courses past instructor further enrich his profile. His healthcare business-related interests lie in healthcare strategy operations improvement and innovation for achieving promising outcomes in delivering high-quality patient care. Mr. Feras has a minimum of 1000 clinical hours of practice within the various internship sites (public, private and military). These clinical experiences addressed the different Occupational Therapy practicing fields, for instance, neurorehabilitation in adults, community and mental health, and paediatrics. Ajin Thomas is a licensed physiotherapist with 14 years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy. He graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from India and joined Padmashri Dr. D Y Patil University, Navi Mumbai as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Physiotherapist. In 2012, he relocated to Abu Dhabi and has been working as a physiotherapist in various capacities. His area of interests includes oncology rehabilitation, Intensive care and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.
Ms. Shyma is an experienced physiotherapist and a fitness trainer with more than nine years of experience in hospitals and other health care sectors. She has hands on expertise on hand rehabilitation of pediatric and adult neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary conditions. She has also dealt with cases of geriatric and sports injuries as well as post-surgical rehabilitation. Her treatment approaches include neuro developmental therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy and scientifically proven modern slimming equipment.
Ms. Norrisca Crasto has extensive experience in rehabilitating various Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions such as stroke, low back pain, arthritis, multiple sclerosis. Norrisca utilizes evidence based approach to formulate treatment according to the goals and impairments of the patient.
Ms. Raheesa has experience treating both children and adults in the areas of voice and resonance, dysarthria, dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, neurocognitive disorders, hearing impaired, cleft lip and palate, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
