Mr. Jamal Aljawhary is a Certified Physiotherapist  with 11 years’ experience in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy rehabilitation  and post-operative protocols. 

Dr. Ibrahim Husni Moh’D Abu Gheida is the Clinical Director of the department of radiation oncology at Burjeel Medical City. He also serves as a regional Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) committee representative for the Middle East and Africa. Dr. Abu-Gheida completed his undergraduate training where he earned a Bachelor of Science with honors degree from the American University of Beirut. Following this, Dr.Abu-Gheida completed his Medical School training at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He continued and joined the Department of Internal Medicine at the American University of Beirut. Then did his training in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where he also served as the chief resident. During his Training, Dr. Abu-Gheida completed a Harvard-affiliated NIH-funded research program as well. After his residency, Dr. Ibrahim went to Cleveland Clinic / in Ohio, where he was appointed as an Advanced Clinical Radiation Oncology Fellow. Dr. Abu-Gheida went and joined the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where he sub-specialized in treating Breast, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers. Dr. Abu Gheida played an instrumental role in establishing and heading the radiation oncology facility and department at Burjeel medical city. He has chaired and co-chaired multiple international oncology conferences. Dr. Ibrahim has more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in the prestigious medical journal including the American Society of Radiation Oncology official journal – the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology and Physics, Nature, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and several others. He is also the primary author and editor of several book chapters published in prestigious books.

Dr. Michael Rebeiro is a distinguished Consultant Plastic Surgeon and the esteemed Director of Plastic Surgery at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi. With a strong commitment to excellence, Dr. Rebeiro leads and oversees a team of specialists, ensuring the highest standards of care and expertise are upheld. During this time, he managed a general plastic surgical practice that involved wound care, reconstructive surgical referrals from various specialties, trauma cases (upper limb and facial), and aesthetics. Dr. Rebeiro’s skill in locoregional techniques for office procedures allowed him to offer clear explanations and simulations of future results, ensuring patients fully understood their treatments. Dr. Geetha Selvakumari is a skilled and experienced General Practitioner with a Diploma in Emergency Medicine with 10 years of experience in the fields of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. Holding a valid DOH license, she has been dedicatedly serving in the medical field, providing exceptional care to her patients. Over the years, Dr. Geetha has gained extensive experience in critical care as an ICU Physician, making a significant impact in prestigious institutions across South India such as Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Super Speciality hospital, and Chettinad Super Speciality Hospital. Her expertise further extended to Azidus Healthcare Ltd. and Sundaram Medical Foundation, where she served as an Emergency Medicine Resident and Medical Officer, respectively. Dr. Fareeda UK is a passionate General Practitioner with six years of extensive experience in both hospital and private clinic settings. She has a strong background in counseling patients on preventive care and promoting positive lifestyle changes. Dr. Farah AlSheikh Bakrou has joined Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, as a Specialist in Pediatrics. She graduated in 2017 with an MBBS degree from the University of Sharjah College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency program, which is ACGME-I Accredited in UAE. Following this, she attained her Arab Board Certification in General Pediatrics as a top scorer in the Middle East. She is exceptionally skilled in the field of pediatrics and is experienced in training at prestigious institutions in 2022.  She also got her Emirati board certification in 2023. Her expertise lies in Lumbar puncture, Urine catheterization, Nasogastric tube insertions/Nasojejunal tube insertion, Interosseous needle insertion, Umbilical catheter insertion (venous and arterial), PEG tube changing and insertion, Management of patients in acute critical situations as per PALS guidelines until stabilization (Emergency sittings), etc. She holds a certification in the American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support Provider (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and Pediatric Life Support (PLS). Additionally, he secured MRCS Part 1 from the renowned Royal College Of Surgeons, England, and a Diploma in Otolaryngology from Bangalore Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, both in 2005. Dr. Majed Alghamdi is an accomplished consultant Radiation Oncologist, holding both the American and Canadian boards in radiation oncology and subspecializing in Central Nervous System Cancers, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (CNS, SRS, SBRT). With extensive expertise in the field, Dr. Alghamdi has proven himself as a leader in the medical community through his diverse roles and contributions. Dr. Alghamdi’s commitment to advancing medical knowledge is evident through his active involvement in numerous academic and other activities. He currently holds the position of the chairman of the board at the Saudi Association of Radiation Oncology (SARO), which is a scientific non-profit society aiming to advance the safe and effective practice of radiation oncology in Saudi Arabia. As an experienced medical educator, Dr. Alghamdi serves as a member of the Examination Committee at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, contributing to the growth and development of Radiation Oncology Saudi residency programs. Throughout his career, Dr. Alghamdi has been using different and advanced radiotherapy techniques to treat complex cases of cancer. Dr. Srividya Venugopal, a highly skilled Obstetrician, and Gynecologist, has over 20 years of experience in the field. Dr. Srividya completed her MBBS degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, in 2002. She further pursued her DGO from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, in 2005 and obtained her MS (OBG) from Sree Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, in 2009. Throughout her career, she has worked in renowned institutions in both India and the UAE, gaining valuable experience and honing her skills. As a certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist by the Medical Council of India, Dr. Srividya possesses a wide range of proficiencies. Her areas of expertise include advanced labor ward skills, performing obstetrics-related procedures and surgeries, conducting gynecological surgeries, managing medical disorders during pregnancy, and utilizing transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasonography. Moreover, she has exceptional teaching skills. Dr. Srividya is adept at independently handling diverse OB&G cases, from pre-pregnancy counseling and antenatal care to managing complications during all stages of pregnancy. Dr. Sangeetha Anamalamudi Vilvanathan has more than 13 years of experience and expertise, including teaching, routine & molecular microbiological testing & reporting, clinical research, infection control, Antibiotic stewardship, Audit & Accreditation related activities, and quality control practices. She has been trained in Quality Management Systems and Internal Auditor’s Training as per ISO 15189-2012, accredited by NABET.

Her expertise includes teaching, routine & molecular microbiological testing & reporting, clinical research, infection control, Antibiotic stewardship, audit & accreditation-related activities, and safety and quality control practices. She is also interested in research in the areas of antimicrobial drug resistance, emerging and re-emerging Infectious Diseases, and Healthcare-associated infections. She has published 14 papers in renowned national and International journals and has presented papers at various national and international medical conferences. She holds membership in the Indian Academy of Tropical Parasitology (IATP), the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organization (CAHO), Member of British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, Member of Indian Association of Leprologists. She is also a reviewer of many reputed journals in the field of Microbiology. Before joining Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, Dr. Sangeetha Anamalamudi Vilvanathan was doing Informal Observership Program in Laboratory Department at NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain. She was also working as a Specialist and teaching faculty in Microbiology in various reputed organizations in India. She has guided MBBS students under ICMR STS (Short Term Studentship) projects.
