Abrar Malik Ahmed

Dr. Abrar Malik Ahmed received her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) Degree from the National Ribat University, Khartoum, Sudan, with high-grade performance. Dr. Abrar Malik Ahmed has also worked as a volunteer with the Ministry of Health in Sudan and participated as a trainer of healthcare providers during the Covid-19 national prevention program. She worked as General Practitioner at the Ribat University Hospital, Khartoum, Sudan covering OP and IP wards. She did internship in general surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics in the Soba University Hospital, Ibrahim Malik Teaching Hospital, and the Police University Hospital, and the Jabal Awlea Teaching Hospital, respectively.

Rayan Osman Ibrahim Faza

Dr. Rayan Osman Ibrahim received her MBBS -Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Sudan, International University of Africa. She is an experienced NICU and pediatrics GP Practitioner with more than 6 years in UAE and Sudan. Dr. Rayan Osman was working with Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah before joining Burjeel Medical City as a General Practitioner in NICU.

Mohammed Shihabeldin Hussein Gadim

Mohammed Shihabeldein Hussein Gadim has a clinical experience of 5 years and is an expertise in nephrology department. He has worked in nephrology ward, transplant ward transplant ICU and transplant ICU. His clinical experience including management of Acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease,pre and post operative management of kidney transplant patients. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, Dr.Mohammed Shihabeldin Hussein Gadim served as General practitioner, ENT Department, Nephrology Department, Ahmed Gasim hospital (Cardiac surgery and Renal Transplantation center) – Khartoum, Sudan.  

Anshu Tewari

Dr. Anshu Tewari has joined Burjeel Medical City as a General Practitioner, Nuclear Medicine. Her areas of expertise include PET-CT guided imaging, PET MRI co-registration in Epilepsy, PET-CT in osteoarthritis, FDG PET in myocardial viability, radioactive iodine therapy (I-131 therapy) for hyperthyroidism, radio-embolization therapy: SIRT for hepatocellular carcinoma and liver metastases from colorectal cancer, bone pain palliation therapy, Lu-177 DOTA therapy for neuroendocrine tumors, nuclear nephrology, and nuclear endocrinology. She is the fellow of Asian board of nuclear Seoul South Korea & Academy of Thranostics Autralia.

Sara Musallam Suhail Anbar Alkatheeri

Sara Musallam Suhail Alkatheeri is a DOH Abu Dhabi Licensed Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Public Health and Nutrition from Zayed University, UAE. She completed an internship with Human Health Education and Research Foundation (HHERF) in London, United Kingdom.. After completing her professional studies, she did her post-graduate internship in NutriCenter and Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center.. After joining Burjeel Medical City, She is involved in clinic duties in chemotherapy infusion center, medical oncology and weight and management clinic outpatient.

Haifaa Fadl Mohamed Nourin

Dr. Haifaa Fadl Mohamed Nourin is an enthusiastic and dedicated General Practitioner with strong leadership and decision-making skills. She holds an MBBS degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Zaiem Al-Azhari University, Sudan. In addition, she also holds a Diploma in Infection Control from Nottinghill College and has also successfully qualified the first part Membership of Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, UK. As an upgradation to her skills, Dr. Haifaa has also qualified in the additional courses of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS). Dr. Haifaa has bagged permanent registration in Sudanese Medical Council and Department of Health License, UAE, allowing her to practice in both Sudan and UAE. She began her clinical practice by completing internships at various hospitals in Sudan from 2003-2005. She was further appointed as Medical Officer at Bahry Military Hospital and Al Sheikh Specialized Hospital. Dr. Haifaa was last practicing at Burjeel Hospital as a General Practitioner. During her 18 years in General Medicine, Dr. Haifaa gained sound experience in managing cardiac, respiratory, infectious, neurological, renal, diabetic and dehydration cases as well as malnutrition beside the management of acute & emergencies situation. She is highly skilled in procedures such as insertion of venous cannulation and blood collection, nasogastric tube placement, insert urinary catheter, pleural and peritoneal paracentesis, chest drain insertion, and applying plaster of Paris.

Hala Idris

Dr. Hala Idris graduated with an MBBS degree from Kordofan University, Sudan. Further to this achievement, she underwent the training in ECG and qualified from the Blue Nile Training Centre, Khartoum, Sudan. This was followed by the training in Neonatal Resuscitation Program at CDP Training Centre; Emergency Medicine at Mirus Medical Training Centre; Immediate Life Support (ILS) at T-Mirus Medical Training Centre; and the Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and ACLS training programs from American Heart Association. During the period 2011 till 2022, Dr. Hala worked in four leading hospitals occupying the positions of House Surgeon, General Surgeon, Obstetrics and Gynecology Surgeon, Medical Officer Pediatric. The first three hospitals she served were the Saba University Hospital, Khartoum North Teaching Hospital and Al Ahamed Gasim Teaching Hospital, all of which were in Sudan, and the fourth multi-specialty facility in her career was the Dar Al-Shifaa Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Throughout this period of service, Dr. Hala Idris addressed a wide range of clinical conditions and assignments which included the diagnoses and treatment of common diseases and minor injuries; conducting minor surgeries; ordering and analyzing of tests, reports, and diagnostic images; assessing patients for their illness conditions; administering and/or prescribing drugs and treatments including vaccination and immunization; conducting antenatal and postnatal counselling; and the reporting of mandatory information to the authorities, to mention a few. With this background of expertise and experience, Dr. Hala was able to sharpen her skills abundantly and emerged as a professional and competent General Practitioner, capable of working under stressful conditions of any world-class multi-specialty hospital or medical services department. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical city, Dr. Hala Indris was a Medical Officer at Dar Al-Shifaa Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Arlene Blancia

Arlene is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Manila, Philippines. She has more than 15 years of experience in inpatient, outpatient and homecare settings in Philippines, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. She has handled general cases like orthopedics, urological conditions and specializing in pediatric physiotherapy. Adding to her portfolio are the certificates from various trainings and workshops she attended like Australian Approach for Clinical Reasoning and Spine Manual Therapy, PIDDS Dynamics (Self Help Corrective Exercise), and certificates from Hong’s Children Center for Cerebral Palsy.

Ameera Alnuaimi

Dedicated and experienced physical therapist with experience of evaluating and effectively managing the treatment of patients. A proven track record of accurately assessing the needs of patients and creating appropriate treatment plans to best address their needs. Experienced at helping patients with physical injuries, manage pain and improve their range of movement as a rehabilitation process. She is also experienced at identifying the cause of trauma and designing safe and effective physical therapy treatment plans for patients in need.

Amal Mohan

Amal Mohan is a physiotherapist with 9 years of experience in neurology, orthopedics and long-term care rehabilitation. He’s a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Little Flower Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Angamaly (Affiliated to MG University). He gained his professional experience from different inpatient and outpatient departments such as orthopedic, neurology, cardiology, sports injuries, pediatrics and early intervention from various hospitals and clinics. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical City, he worked as a DHA licensed Physiotherapist at Gulf Healthcare International (Amber Clinics), which is one of the leading clinic groups in Dubai for 3 years. Before shifting to UAE in 2018, he acquired 5 years of his experience from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College Hospital and Charis Medical Mission Hospital, Kerala, India. He has clinic expertise in neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and sports injuries rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, post operative rehabilitation, exercise prescription and strength and conditioning.
