Arivarasan Karunanithi

Arivarasan Karunanithi earned his Master Degree from Vinayaka Mission University in India and Bachelor Degree in physiotherapy from Dr. MGR Medical University in 2010. He has over 13 years of full-time experience in neurological rehabilitation. He began his career as a Junior physiotherapist at Christian Medical College and Hospital (NABH-accredited 2,500 beds) in India. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical City, he has worked as a Clinical Physiotherapist and led the physiotherapy team at Gleneagles Global Hospital (NABH-accredited 250 beds) in India for 9 years. He enhanced his subject knowledge through several accredited courses from domestic and foreign universities, including St. Augustine University in the United States, the Philippine Rehabilitation Institute, the University of Tasmania, and ISCoS in the United Kingdom. He successfully completed his Fellowship in a Radiology Course for Physical Therapist from the International Institute of Digital Teaching, India. In addition, he is a licensed Mulligan concept practitioner who practices manual therapy internationally. He is skilled and experienced in handling all modern, cutting-edge equipment in the field of neuro rehabilitation. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the profession he has received many awards. He played an active role and performed as the stroke coordinator for one of the largest rehabilitation trials ever executed in India, the Attend Trial, which lasted for three years. The research paper was published in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet in 2017. Additionally, he received the outstanding stroke coordinator award for his performance on the trial. He organized numerous awareness campaigns and led Stroke Support Group and Parkinson Support Group at a state level to reclaim their livelihoods of many.

Ayisha Meethale Peedikayil

Dr. Ayisha Meethale Peedikayil received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Govt. Medical College, Kozhikode, India. Further she pursued Doctor of Medicine in Community Medicine from the same university. Dr. Ayisha was positioned as a full-time Medical Officer in Emergency Department of District Hospital, Kerala, India. She further practiced in various renowned hospitals in Kerala, India as a General Practitioner and Resident Medical Officer. In 2018, she shifted to UAE, where she started clinical practice as a General Practitioner at Emirates Medical Center. She is highly efficient in managing all emergency cases, treating medical conditions including pediatric, dermatology, ENT, ophthalmic, orthopedic, gynecologic, and even rheumatology conditions. Besides her clinical practice, Dr. Ayisha extended her passion for serving the community through her participation as a Team Member of Cold Chain Evaluation of Kerala, India conducted by INCLEN. She was also the team leader for evaluation of RMNCH+A program 2013, Kasaragod District, and was an External Monitor of Pulse Polio Immunization Program in India in 2015. To her credit, she has worked on a dissertation which is an assessment of the activities of Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) program in delivering maternal and child health care services in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. She is currently working on a research project which is to be published.

Ehzana Ansari

Ms. Ehzana earned a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree from Kerala University of Health Sciences, India in 2016 and a Master of Physiotherapy Degree in Neurology from the same university in 2018. She previously worked in a multi specialty hospital in India before moving to UAE where she gained hands-on experience in neurological, musculoskeletal, pediatric rehabilitation and later moved on to cancer care and worked as a lymphedema therapist. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and has done various courses and certifications to keep herself updated with the latest technologies and medical advancements.

Feras Mohammed Elamaireh

A minimum of 1000 clinical hours of practices within the various internship sites (public, private and military). These clinical experiences addressed the different OT practicing fields e.g. neuro-Rehabilitation & adults, Community and mental health, and pediatrics. These sites were Al-Bashier hospital, National Center hospital for Mental Health, Occupational Therapy House Center (OT house), AL-Hussein Society –Jordan center for rehabilitation and inclusion and Alliance Academy Jordan school. Extensive of 4 years of experience of treating patient pediatric and adult with neurological , orthopedic or musculoskeletal and mental illness cases

Girly Lim Donato

Girly is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with over 12 years of experience evaluating and effectively managing the treatment of patients, helping both adults and children to thrive through movement and exercise. She has experience helping patients with physical injuries managing pain and improving their range of movement and rehabilitation process. She’s adept at identifying the cause of trauma and designing safe and effective physical therapy treatment plans for patients in need. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She specializes in therapeutic exercise, postural/core stability, functional manual therapy and movement training, hydrotherapy, and patient education.

Hina Jan

Hina is a women’s health physiotherapist with a strong desire to help women with pelvic floor dysfunction and deliver fantastic outcomes. Her experience in government and private hospitals has qualified her to evaluate and treat dysfunction during pregnancy, postpartum/post-gynecological surgery and pelvic floor conditions as well as taking care of orthopedic cases and sports injuries. She aims to empower women in all stages of their life and rehabilitating women through pelvic floor dysfunction to complete recovery. She achieves this by combining various manual, education, and holistic techniques into her treatment to provide an individualized approach for each patient. She aspires to live a life of good health and happiness and strives to inspire the same in her patients.

Ibrahim Mahmoud Alqahwaji

Dr. Ibrahim Mahmoud Alqahwaji is a highly skilled ENT specialist with over 20 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ear, nose, and throat disorders. Having completed his medical education and specialized training at the prestigious Military Medical Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Dr. Alqahwaji holds diplomas in both General Medicine and Otorhinolaryngology. Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Alqahwaji has worked in numerous respected healthcare institutions across Abu Dhabi, where he has become known for his expertise in both invasive and non-invasive ENT procedures. Mahesh Cirasanambati

Dr. Mahesh has completed his MRCS, Board Certification (CCT) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the UK and is also a Diplomate of Sports and Exercise Medicine – UK. He has worked as a Consultant and Director of Rehabilitation Medicine in the UK and MENA region for more than nine years. He was also Chair of the Musculoskeletal special interest group of the British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine. He is also interested in training and research and is currently director of the Center for Advanced Rehabilitation Training and Education – UK (CARTE-UK). He also works as a Sports and Exercise Medicine consultant for several Premier League football and rugby clubs in the UK. He specializes in the rapid rehabilitation of sports injuries using a combination of high-end interventions and the most advanced rehabilitation techniques. He has a broad clinical practice that includes neurological problems; brain injury rehabilitation; stroke; spinal cord injury rehabilitation; chronic pain – including neuromodulation with spinal cord stimulators and Intrathecal pain pumps; musculoskeletal and joint problems; pediatric; sports injuries; and spasticity management with nerve blocks and Botox treatments. He is currently Chief of Rehabilitation for Burjeel Holdings. He leads a skilled multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, dieticians, nutrition specialists, and advanced skilled rehabilitation nurses.

Mohab Ahmed Nasrat Shafei

Mohab is a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Doctor with over 20 years of clinical experience. He completed his surgical training at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Mohab started his career in hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the year 2000 at Air Forces General Hospital, Cairo, Egypt. He was the only doctor responsible for the selection and evaluation of patients undergoing HBOT. Dr. Mohab is the first doctor in MOH, DHA, and DOH to obtain hyperbaric oxygen therapy license. Dr. Mohab is appointed examiner at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He Treated the oldest patient in the world at Al Zahra hospital, Dubai (99 years old) and youngest baby in gulf area (one month old). Currently Dr. Mohab is the Head of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Burjeel Medical City.

Melbinkips Rathnamony

After gaining the professional qualification of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, India, Mr. Melbinkips Rathnamony acquired an MBA degree from in healthcare from Sikkim Manipal University, India. He commenced his career in physiotherapy practice as a Physiotherapist at the Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru, India. Later Mr. Melbinkips moved to the Middle East and worked as Physiotherapist at the Lifecare Hospital, Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE. His expertise in post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, spine care and neuro rehabilitation.
